Thanks. I have not set the TMP variable, so the draft file was /tmp/mutt-<hostname>-<uid>-<pid>-<whatever> and has been deleted on boot. Bad luck, I have now set 'tmpdir=~/.mutt/'. Btw, is there a variable to tell mutt not to delete mails from the postponed mailbox on editing?
