No problem; gotta start somewhere! > Kyle - i have been reading the man page as you suggested and also > check the wiki-faq's, etc. As i'm using the IMAP server for storing > mail, sent, received, etc, do i need to have an mbox vaiable setting > in my muttrc? ... vaiable? ... you mean viable? variable? If you intend on keeping everything on your IMAP server, no, you do not need to have mutt do *anything* with any mbox-related settings, with one exception: $mbox and $spoolfile. You probably just want to have something like this: set folder=imap://...stuff... set spoolfile=+ set mbox=+ For an explanation as to why that might be, read the documentation about $spoolfile and $mbox. (The $mbox variable is somewhat poorly named.) ~Kyle - -- The answers may be in The Book, but we're expected to show our work.
