Hi all,

I'm having a difficult time setting up multiple return addresses in
my mutt configuration. I've seen various explanations and suggested
configurations, but none of them work consistently.

I am running Mutt 1.4.1i (installed from CentOS repos) and have the
following config settings for this:

set reverse_name=yes
set reverse_realname=yes
set alternates="[EMAIL PROTECTED]|[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
send-hook . 'set realname="Doug Carter"'
send-hook '~f [EMAIL PROTECTED]' 'set realname="System Administrator"'

It works ~80% of the time. When replying to a [EMAIL PROTECTED] email,
it sets the From address to System Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
The most common failure is it's not setting the realname correctly. It
fails both ways:

  System Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
  Doug Carter <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

The failures seem to be completely random and I haven't found any way
to debug the problem. Does anyone have this setup and working reliably?

TIA,

Doug
