Try rss2email¹. Despite its name, it not only handles rss but also atom feeds. It gets the feeds and mails their articles to an email address (possibly a local one). procmail/maildrop/fdm can sort these mails into different mailboxes. (No, that's not built-in feed support. And I am not aware such code for mutt either).
