I use MH folders exclusively. When I make a new folder I do it thus: mhdir ~/p/mail/folder_name that being where my mail lives. Mhdir is this script: http://www.zip.com.au/~cs/scripts/mhdir I'm fairly sure I found that an empty .mh_sequences file isn't enough. It is safe to run that script against an already set up MH folder, so you could sweep yours if you like.
