Most such users don't care - we make /usr/local/bin/mutt (and the system
default) be the most capable least buggy mutt installed. And lo, they
are happy.

Those who _do_ care are generally capable of tweaking things once told how.

Only the few where we really keep several versions around.  Historically
that's been mutt, mozilla, netscape (so we can upgrade and test _before_
