I haven't yet decided it bothers me enough to pursue it, but it's not just you. set quote_regexp="(^[ ]*[a-zA-Z]?[a-zA-Z]?[a-zA-Z]?[a-zA-Z]?[a-zA-Z]?>)|(^[ ]*[]}>|:%\+]+)" (This is to try to catch that hideous quoting that Gnus and VM users seem to use most.
