I'm not using POP or IMAP. $timeout is set to 5, and mail_check is not set, so according to the manual, default is 5. Doesn't this sound like it shouldn't be doing what I am seeing? And after I've hit a key, mutt still doesn't tell me there's new mail. Only when there is new mail from that point on. -Ken
