I can get mails from my POP-server using mutt but I am not able to send mails. I think is due to unsuccessfull configuration of sendmail. So this is my question: How do I configure sendmail? I just want sendmail to know my SMTP-server. Nothing more. If it is important: my computer is stably integrated in an network.
If you can help me please say I exactly wih which commands I need to configure sendmail. I really got angry with that. Furhter information: I am using Debian 2.2. In some way sendmail seems to be connected with zmailer. I am not familiar with this either. All I want to know is what do I have to do that my outgoing mail goes to the SMTP-server.
