Mutt doesn't do that, but PGP does. In GnuPG, you'd add the following to your ~/.gnupg/options file: encrypt-to-self PGP should have something similar. If not, it sucks. :-) Also check the archives for a conversation YESTERDAY on this very subject, where I talk about the security tradeoffs in doing this.
