When installing Mutt in my home directory, I get the following error: chgrp: changing group of `/home/lefevre/bin/mutt_dotlock': Operation not permitted Can't fix mutt_dotlock's permissions! make[2]: *** [install-exec-local] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/lefevre/software/mutt/mutt' make[1]: *** [install-am] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/lefevre/software/mutt/mutt' make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
This is normal, but anyway, mutt_dotlock is already installed in /usr/bin. In fact, I just want to install the mutt binary. The problem is that Mutt has installed a mutt_dotlock with incorrect permissions in my home directory. I think that if it can't set the correct permissions, it shouldn't install mutt_dotlock. -- Vincent Lefèvre <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - Web: <http://www.vinc17.org/> - 100% validated (X)HTML - Acorn Risc PC, Yellow Pig 17, Championnat International des Jeux Mathématiques et Logiques, TETRHEX, etc. Work: CR INRIA - computer arithmetic / SPACES project at LORIA
