I'm taking a stab at this, but something like a combination of the correct .mailcap entry and wget. For it to then be visible, in this case because it's at text file, you'd still probably have to open it separately. This external thing seems to be a security risk if it's all automated anyway, and slightly against the spirit of email, but that's another story. Simon -- Yuck! I'm in Windoze with PINE.
