I got rid of this problem by installing a normal ncurses on the Solaris
machine, then adding this to my 

/etc/profile

TERMINFO=/usr/local/share/terminfo
export TERMINFO


After that i added this to the Login Scripts secion in SecureCRT's Session
Options:

[v] Automate login
[v] Send initial carriage return
Expect: $
Send: export TERM=xterm-16color


xterm-16color seems to do the job just fine...
