I am using jed as an editor with mutt-1.3.25i running in an xterm. Occasionally, I mistakenly type (the jed commands) Ctrl-x Ctrl-c shortly after returning to the mutt command prompt after having composed a message. My mutt then locks up entirely, and I have to kill it (at least I haven't found another way to continue).
