Well using pipe, set pipe_decode. > 2. Why do I /have/ to pipe to lpr? It doesn't work if I just print. Verify that your value for print_cmd is correct (it should probably be the same as whatever you are piping to). Related to question 1, you'll probably want to set print_decode as well.
