At some point hitherto, Erika Pacholleck hath spake thusly: > I have been reading all your arguments in that blind etiquette > thread and more than once I was tempted to reply. I did not, > I have a rule not allow any mail to upset me any longer.
That's a good policy. :) > Now there is a simple solution to the whole thing which some > of you might not have noticed yet: > - etiquette is simply out, not uptodate, ancient relict - DOT > - educating consideration of others is superfluous waste of time > - it's up to everyone himself to see how he gets along > - modern life does not need old, poor or handicapped people > This is what is commonly known as reality. Face it. Ucky. I don't want to live in that place. > Get used to nowadays no-rules, stop crying about good old times, > don't waste your time in silly tries to make the world better > and stop trying to make time run backwards. And if you think you > can't cope with this, simply do not join our fine modern society, > we can do well without you - DOT Thanks, but I'd rather not. Many people are happy to comply to the rules of any clique or niche, but don't only because THEY DON'T KNOW THEM. It's always worth it to try to educate them, and then ignore them only after, if they still refuse to play by the rules. [This is what /dev/null was created for!] I'll agree though, it's not worth getting upset about it if they act like a$$holes about it. Just ignore them, and delete their messages. -- Derek Martin [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------- I prefer mail encrypted with PGP/GPG!
