Sendmail is designed to be extremely flexible and tends to be very
complicated because of that.  There's some documentation that comes
with the source, that you may find in /usr/doc/sendmail* on your
system, and of course there's the man page.  Another source of
information about configuring sendmail is the website,
http://www.sendmail.org.
