My suggestion would have been to use another key, like the Del you ended up picking, or to macro \e\e to remove any ambiguity. ... % Ahh, I understand. I found that this solved my problem better: % % macro pager <delete> <delete-message><exit><next-unread> Do you have resolve set? I don't have to do any macro magic; when I'm in the pager, I just hit 'd' (bound to delete-message) and it jumps to the next unread (not even next-new, which is fine with me and looks like what you want) and there's the message. Meanwhile, if you first exit and then delete, you should move to the next unread and not be in the pager. In either case, you wouldn't need the <next-unread> in your macro, so I suspect that you have resolve=no. % % Which is basically what I was trying to do (Del, Esc to close, then % arrow down). Did you specifically want to not be back in the pager? That looks like the factor that will decide how you might rewrite. % % -- % -Brian Clark HTH & HAND :-D -- David T-G * It's easier to fight for one's principles (play) [EMAIL PROTECTED] * than to live up to them. -- fortune cookie (work) [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.justpickone.org/davidtg/ Shpx gur Pbzzhavpngvbaf Qrprapl Npg!
