In general, no; mutt not only doesn't care but in fact handles multiple "sessions", or copies running against the same mailbox, with no problem (as long as your system has locking correctly configured). % had two or three copies of the client running unintentionally... % (I know--don't do it then, stupid!) You could simply synchronize your mailbox (bound by default to '$') to write the changes; no biggie there. I have found mutt to be pretty good at detecting what has changed and only applying those changes, so even multiple changes in multiple copies should all end up written properly in the end. The worst I've ever seen is a warning "mailbox externally modified; rereading" but that still doesn't stop mutt from syncing the flags on the messages it has. % % -Mike HTH & HAND :-D -- David T-G * It's easier to fight for one's principles (play) [EMAIL PROTECTED] * than to live up to them. -- fortune cookie (work) [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.justpickone.org/davidtg/ Shpx gur Pbzzhavpngvbaf Qrprapl Npg!
