In fact there are still blanks, but they aren't always taken into account
by my terminal when I copy-paste.
Concerning the lines displaying at the wrong place, this doesn't happen
when using screen in rxvt. I could only reproduce it with screen in
Nettle (a new terminal under RISC OS) after a ssh. Here's an example:
[several blank lines: 20 20 ... 20 20 0D 0A 7E]
00007600 : 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 :
00007610 : 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 0D 00 7E 1B 5B 34 42 1B : ..~.[4B.
00007620 : 5B 33 30 6D 1B 5B 34 37 6D 20 20 20 2D 20 38 2F : [30m.[47m - 8/
The line starting with " - 8/" was displayed near the top instead
of the bottom. From the above data, is it possible to say where the
problem comes from?
