I use the following macros:
macro index \Ca "!\${EDITOR} ~/.mutt_aliases\n:source
~/.mutt_aliases\n"
macro pager \Ca "!\${EDITOR} ~/.mutt_aliases\n:source
~/.mutt_aliases\n"
Because there aren't that many fields in an alias, I always remember
the realname, and cut and paste the email address (if it is too
difficult to remember ;)
But these are just my 2 c.
