just tells mutt to use them as maildirs, plus another line for my

Use J and K, must be capitals. Or rebind up and down to what J and K
are set to.

I had a similar problem and solved it by setting LC_CTYPE to en_AU, but
I'm not sure if this sort of thing works in solaris.
