Hello everyone.

I`ve been forced to downgrade from mutt 1.3.19 to mutt 1.2.5 since I
installed Slackware 8.0, I keep getting the following error with
ncurses:

checking for waddnwstr in -lncurses... no
checking for waddnwstr in -lncursesw... no
checking for initscr in -lncurses... no
checking for initscr... no
checking for tgoto... no
checking for tgoto in -ltermcap... no
checking for tgoto in -ltermlib... no
checking for tgoto in -lunknown... no
checking for initscr in -lcursesX... no
checking for initscr in -lcurses... no
checking for initscr in -lncurses... no
checking for initscr in -lxcurses... no
checking for initscr in -ljcurses... no
checking for initscr in -lunknown... no
configure: error: no curses library found

I don`t know why this is happening. I have the slackware default ncurses
installed, it`s ncurses 5.2 if I`m not mistaken.

I also tried running configure with:

--with-curses=/usr/lib/libncurses.a
--with-curses=/usr/lib/libncurses.so
--with-curses=/usr/include/ncurses

All of these with no luck.

1.2.5 is working fine for me, but I`d like to have the option of running
1.3.19 or any other version that might come out of CVS, the mutt version
I`m using is the one that came with Slackware 8.0.

Thanks in advanced to anyone who might be so kind in enlightening me.
