Problem fixed.

I found the system muttrc (I looked for /etc/mutt* and
couldn't find it at first.) and I see that Debian disables
filling in the header.  I wonder why they did that?  Oh
well, I've solved the problem now.

Even though you all didn't get to help me, I can feel that
you would have if I had given you the chance.  Thanks.
