Have you defined your mailboxes in your .muttrc? (I have overlooked the
obvious myself a time or two)
mailboxes ! +mbox +foo +etc
or something along the lines of:
mailboxes `echo $HOME/Mail/* | sed 's/ [^ ]*sent//'`
Don't mean to insult you if that ^is^ too obvious, but the symptoms
match exactly.
