Using Jed with Mutt

Hi all,

I'm using JED as my editor.  When I reply/forward a message, it fires up JED
and puts the current message at the top of the buffer.  I want to put a few
blank lines above the message cause I'm too lazy to hit enter a bunch of
times :)

I've tried all the command line tricks I can think of for JED, but it
dosen't work.  Anybody using JED have any ideas I can try out?
