I've

    LC_CTYPE=de_DE

and I CAN display / edit mails correctly.

The only problem is that german Umlauts are rendered
incorrectly in the /index/ even if the corresponding
message has

    Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

and I get something like this in the index:

  14 r + Mar 30 =?iso-8859-1?Q? (  20) 1000 Re: hi

It would be great, if anyone could help me with this.
