try this:
 telnet imap 143
 Trying 192.168.100.1...
 Connected to server.xxxx.xx.
 Escape character is '^]'.
 * OK server Cyrus IMAP4 v1.5.19 server ready
            ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

That's my imapserver, cyrus 2.0.x supports server side
filtering with sieve.
