Hi,

I'm a brand-new mutt user, so possibly have got something simple wrong.
However I've done the usual trawl through the manual, FAQ, archives, and
found nothing. I'm using a recent mutt built from CVS (2001-02-12). `mutt
-v` appended.

I'm trying to connect to an IMAP server, by changing to folder
"{[EMAIL PROTECTED]}Inbox". Mutt just sits there doing
nothing. The status bar reads:

---Mutt: (no mailbox) [Msgs:0]---(threads/date)--

I have set my imap_user and imap_pass variables appropriately, and can
connect to that IMAP folder through Pine. I compiled with --enable-imap.
There's no locks or anything weird on the server (here's my being all
hardcore..;):

nescafe:~$ telnet mail.socialchange.net.au 143

Is anyone out there actually using recent mutt builds with IMAP? I get the
impression IMAP is rather out of favour because one can't do funky stuff
with procmail. As someone who moves around a lot, IMAP seems The Right
Way of doing things. How do other people manage?

Thanks,

--Jeff
