I assume you mean that you don't want to include the message text in a
reply. Try this,
send-hook . 'set include'
send-hook '~s joke' 'unset include'
where you may have to play with the '~s joke' pattern to get what you
want. It worked when I tried it with a '~t <user>' pattern.
