It appears that save_name is broken if you're using IMAP support,
although force_name works just fine.
After checking the code, the problem appears to be that the way Mutt
looks to see if folder exists is via access(2), which is all well and
good if you're using a local filesystem, but clearly is not right when
your $folder={mail/SSL}"INBOX." or similar.
I'm using mutt 1.3.12i (although after checking the code this bug has
not been fixed in 1.3.14i either).
Since I can't seem to file a bug report, can someone make sure the
developers take a look at this? It would appear that in almost all
cases the use of access(2) throughout the code needs to be replaced with
something IMAP- compatible.
