inline view

I added some lines to the mutt.octet.filter file to view pdf files as 
resommended by Gary.
It opens the acrobat reader to read the attachment. That is ok. What tools 
are available to
convert .pdf to text file for inline view?. Or is that what i need?.Or, do i 
have to create such
tools myself which is big job, i guess.?.
