Hello,

I'm using mutt 1.2.5 with imap/ssl on Solaris 8, and having problems
with accessing messaging displayed in 'limit' mode. Some are almost
silent errors, the worse kind of prolbem in an email client.

After I limit messages, I get a message list, as expected.
BUt then highlighting a message gives me a message that hsould be in the limited list.
For example if I search for 'socket', and messages 1, 54, and 245 appear, and I
hihglight message 54 to read it, mutt then displays message 55, an unrelated message
without the word 'socket' in it.

Further, (this is the semi-silent error) after this, when I return to
the message index, the number of entries is reduced by one, the
message I attempted (and failed) to read is gone, and even setting
limit to 'all' and then back to (in this example) "socket", won't
restore the right message list.

Has anyone else had this problem? I haven't heard of this problem with other
workers in my research who use the same IMAP server, so I think this is a mutt 1.2.5
problem. not my IMAP server.

        My install details:

System: SunOS 5.8
Compile options:
-DOMAIN
-DEBUG
-HOMESPOOL -USE_SETGID +USE_DOTLOCK +USE_FCNTL -USE_FLOCK
+USE_IMAP -USE_GSS +USE_SSL +USE_POP -HAVE_REGCOMP +USE_GNU_REGEX
+HAVE_COLOR +HAVE_PGP -BUFFY_SIZE -EXACT_ADDRESS +ENABLE_NLS

                                        Thanks for any help,

                                        Barry
