Maybe your ISP is running a non DSN aware MTA, or has disabled DSN?
If you have pine on that box, enable receipts
(enable-delivery-status-notification in the setup/configure section) and
try sending a mail asking for a receipt (^X and D)
If your ISP _is_ running an older sendmail, tell him to upgrade or it's
fair game for any 3l337 h4x0r d00d who comes along. Panix runs postfix -
and that shouldn't be a problem. They also have very clued sysadmins,
IIRC. So I'm assuming it's your alternate ISP which is a problem.
