It is almost inverse.

1.2.1 fixes some bugs in 1.2, among others some cases of possible
mbox folder corruption when the filesystem for temporary files runs
out of space. Unfortunately 1.2.1 was never announced, or the
announcement disappeared.

1.2.1 had some build problems which were fixed by 1.2.2 which came
shortly after 1.2.1. But there is *no* reason to upgrade from 1.2.1
to 1.2.2 for anyone who has 1.2.1 and can build it.

Not all known cases of folder corruction was fixed by 1.2.1, and
also other errors is reported against 1.2.1/1.2.2, therefore it is
natural to expect 1.2.3 in the near future.
