I have a very peculiar problem which just showed itself when I changed
one of my rxvt X resouces recently.

My Rxvt resources file has the following:-
    Rxvt*color0: grey10
    Rxvt*color1: red4
    Rxvt*color2: green4
    Rxvt*color3: yellow4
    Rxvt*color4: blue3
    Rxvt*color5: magenta4
    Rxvt*color6: cyan3
    Rxvt*color7: grey50
    Rxvt*color8: black
    Rxvt*color9: Red
    Rxvt*color10: Green
    Rxvt*color11: yellow
    Rxvt*color12: blue
    Rxvt*color13: magenta
    Rxvt*color14: cyan
    Rxvt*color15: white

My muttrc has:-
    color header blue default .
    color body magenta default [_a-z\.\$A-Z0-9-]+@[a-zA-Z0-9\./\-]+
    color body magenta default (http|ftp)://[_a-zA-Z0-9\./~\-]+
    color quoted blue default
    color signature red default
    # color indicator yellow blue
    color attachment magenta default
    color tree red default
    color indicator black cyan
    color status cyan blue
    color tilde blue default
    color normal default default

The above works as expected, default gives text in mutt which is the
same as my defaults for rxvt which is non-bold black on grey90.

However if I change rxvt's color7 (not explictly used by mutt at all)
to grey90 (same as my default background colour) then mutt's default
foreground colour changes to *bold* black, rxvt color8.

Has anyone any idea why this should happen?

This is with Mutt 1.1.13i (2000-05-03), SunOS 5.6 [using slang 10310]
