w3m is another text-mode browser. AFAIK it's main claim to fame,
-vs- lynx, is intelligent support for presenting tables so they look
reasonable. However, I've never been able to get it to build.

Another browser, which I have had no trouble building, and which
again does a pretty nice job of tables compared to lynx, is links
<URL:http://artax.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/~mikulas/links/>.

My .mailcap includes:

        text/html; links -dump %s|tr -d '\\001'; copiousoutput

I've no idea where the ^As come from in links's -dump output, but
this setup seems to work really nicely.
