This may not be the place to discuss this but I'll just mention it. I
have a small network of Linux machines. DOn't have a fqdn. I am not
finding the info I need on setting up a network with public IP addresses
(192.168.xxx.xxx) with a ficticious domain name and do email via my
ISP's IMAP. ANy pointers
here will be greatly appreciated. They all talk about fqdns. There is an
article in the Linux Gazette issue#45 called "mail for the home network"
with lots of info but one of the prerequisites mentioned is "You must
have a legal domain name". I do have a legal domain name but it is at my
web hosting company.
