Andy, here is a part of my muttrc file

send-hook '(~C gnu)' source ~/.mutt/profile.gnu

send-hook '(~C mutt)' "set signature="uptime|" ;my_hdr From: Neelakanth 
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> " 

==================

profile.gnu contains normal mutt stuff like my_hdr, etc...
