mutt and eterm

hi,
www.mutt.org shows very nice screenshots with mutt when opened in
eterm; alas, my eterm doesn´t show this menu bar at the top;
how could i tailor my eterm/mutt to get this ?
is it possible at all ? is it of any use for mutt ?
