It's not a Mutt problem.  The mailbox file is supposed to have each
message start with a "From " (including the space), not "X_From".

If your mailbox doesn't follow this format, then the problem is with
whatever program delivered the email there.  Procmail in your case I
guess?  However I've never before heard of procmail doing something
like that, it's always written proper mailbox files for me.
