I'm sorry to say that I think this has been discussed, but I paid no
attention because I hadn't noticed the problem.
Some of my messages show up in the index with a different date than any
of the headers show. Example:

>From hlarons Sun Jan 30 13:39:03 2000
Received: from mail.comcat.com
by localhost (fetchmail-4.3.8 POP3)
for <hlarons/localhost> (single-drop); Sun, 30 Jan 2000
13:39:03 EST
DATE: 29 Jan 00 1:24:33 AM

shows up in the index with a date of Mar 06.
What's going on?
