% hi,

% Since send-hook works before editing the message, it is useless when edit_headers is
set. Is there any patch which will invoke send-hook after editing is over that is just
before the actually sending the mail?
You may find it best to turn off autoedit so that you can enter the
recipient(s) and subject *before* going into the editor, perhaps with
headers, and thus have your hooks work for you. I found that this was
necessary in order for me to turn off pgp_autosign for certain users
since, of course, they weren't known when I had edit_hdrs and autoedit
set. I've gotten used to entering the name (or at least one, perhaps)
and subject in mutt's compose dialog, and now I can jump straight to the
first open line (one of these days I'll get around to changing my editor
from "vim" to "vim +}" or whatever it would take to make it jump
automatically :-) and start typing instead of working my way down through
the headers anyway.
