'Lo.

Just built 1.0i on a new machine, using an old muttrc, and noticed
some interesting behavior. The old muttrc had ``set tmpdir="~/tmp"''
(which I always use on public systems), but I hadn't bothered creating
~/tmp on the new box (because I wasn't planning on using it). $TMPDIR
wasn't set, and I forgot about tmpdir in the muttrc, and went about
reading a test message I sent myself.

Mutt wouldn't open the message, giving a "Can't open temporary file"
error. Okay, forgot a setting. We'll exit mutt and change that.

Oops, no we won't! Every time I tried to quit mutt, I got the same
error; I ended up having to ^C out. I'm not sure what needs to be
fixed where, but getting trapped in mutt probably isn't the most
elegant way to handle this :-)
