I have installed mutt a couple of times on Linux systems, as a root, and had no problems whatever. Now I want to install it on a Sparcstation, where I am an ordinary user. The usual installation procedure does not succeed because of write permissions to various catalogs. Mutt's installation guide does not say anything about the possibility of installing mutt without root privileges. Question: is this possible and, if yes, what changes should I make in the Makefile?
