I think this would be an excellent improvement! The current 'folders'
display is just a directory listing in a unix'ish format by default
(is it customisable?), this provides lots of information which is
nothing to do with the mail folders at all. Basically all one really
wants is the name of the folder and some way of selecting it. What
would be really nice would be the ability to mouse click on a folder to
move to it. This is verging on GUIness I suppose but tin does similar
things very successfully (IMHO) and is still resolutely a character
based application.
