question: netscape & mutt

Is it at all possible to use mutt from netscape?  i.e.  clicking on a mailto:
spawns mutt properly--would be the main thing...

I'm using netscape communicator 4.6, but wouldn't mind going w/straight
navigator if it's possible.

Any info would be greatly appreciated...
