Hi, mutt-friends!
There is something I can't quite figure out:
I want mutt to build the "From" line by checking the To: line of
the message I am replying to (manual says: set reverse_name).
If it can't figure it out from there (or if I am not replying
to a mail) I want it to use: "From: Andy Spiegl <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>".
The first part works nicely, but the second doesn't. Mutt always
uses "spiegl@mycomputeratwork". :-((
Here is the relevant part of my .muttrc:
set reverse_name # reply as the user to whom the mail was sent to
#send-hook . my_hdr From: Andy Spiegl <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
send-hook '~C mutt-' 'my_hdr From: Andy Spiegl <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>'
If I uncomment the 2nd line, mutt _always_ uses this address, thus
ignores the setting of the variable reverse_name. Am I doing something
wrong here or is this just a property (no, I won't say bug!) of mutt?
Thanks a lot!
Andy.
