You need to set the LC_CTYPE environment variable (in /etc/profile, if
this makes sense for your installation, or in $HOME/.profile);
probably "EXPORT LC_CTYPE=se_SE" will work for you.
To check beforehand, try running "LC_CTYPE=se_SE mutt" now.
