I haven't been able to get it compiled using SGI's cc, but gcc and egcs
work just fine. I'm afraid I followed the path of least resistance,
though, and just switched to gcc instead of fixing the cc problem.
I've also always had better results using slang than ncurses under IRIX,
but at the level of minor annoyances rather than failing utterly.
